MEET THE PROSPECT
Old: 20-year-old Cayden Goodridge ascended the motorsports ladder in just a few short years. Hailing from Brampton, Canada, with ethnic roots from Barbados, Cayden began his racing career in 2019 in his late teens.
Updated: At just 21, Canadian racing driver Cayden Goodridge is establishing himself as a competitive force in professional racing.
Following a breakout 2024 season, where he finished second in the GT4 Class of the FEL Sports Car Championship and made his GT America debut at Indianapolis, Goodridge is now competing in the 2025 Emzone Radical Cup Canada Championship, the fastest competition class in the country.
He began racing at 16 and is no stranger to the podium. An accomplished endurance racer, he now has his sights set on the highest levels of the sport: IMSA, WEC, Le Mans, and the 24 Hours of Daytona.
Goodridge currently sits third in the championship standings, with a pole position, two podiums from the opening weekend, and a first-place finish at the 2025 Honda Indy Toronto already under his belt. Every lap this season is a step toward that goal.
Off-track, heβs a lifelong car enthusiast and a passionate advocate for inclusivity in professional racing. Following a year spent chasing his dream on the track full-time, Goodridge is currently continuing his Software Engineering degree at Carleton University.
