MEET THE PROSPECT

20-year-old Cayden Goodridge ascended the motorsports ladder in just a few short years. Hailing from Brampton, Canada, with ethnic roots from Barbados, Cayden began his racing career in 2019 in his late teens.

THE ROAD TO GREATNESS

GT4 DEBUT

2024

Cayden joins VPX Motorsport, backed by Policaro Group, in a Porsche GT4 for the Canadian FEL series. He grabs two podiums in his first two races at Mosport and is fighting for the lead in the championship.

RADICAL & GR86

2023

Cayden races in the Super Production Challenge in a Toyota GR86 with Ryspec Racing before advancing to the Emzone Radical Cup with the same team in the Radical SR5. Scoring two 3rd place podiums in 7 races, losing a 4th podium with a technical DNF.

FLORIDA WINTER TOUR & TESTING

2022

Cayden began the year racing in the ROK Cup Florida Winter Tour, finishing 2nd overall as Vice Champion before switching focus to getting his full race license.

KARTING DOMINANCE

2021

Cayden competes in the TRAK Championship and Kartstars Championship, winning both with the following results: 10 wins (with 8 in a row to start), 8 pole positions, 11 fast laps, and 2 wins from last to first. With these impressive results, Cayden was invited to race in the ROK Cup Super Final in Italy – finishing 15th out of 27.

GETTING SERIOUS

2020

Cayden starts the year in 4-stroke Briggs category but makes the jump to the faster 2-stroke ROK category by the end of the year. He competes in his first international race running at the ROK the Rio US championship in Las Vegas, finishing 7th out of 18 runners. With his strong finish, Cayden sets his sites on the 2021 season.

ARRIVE & DRIVE

2019

Cayden begins his career at Goodwood Kartways in their arrive-and-drive program. His talent is recognized, and he decides to make a serious effort into professional racing.
